Aude Lacourt has an MSc in Public Health and a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from Bordeaux, France. She is currently conducting a Postdoctoral fellowship with our group. Her research is on the relationships between human health and occupational exposures.
Amel Mahboubi
Amel Mahboubi has a PhD in Public Health with a specialty in Biostatistics and is a postdoctoral fellow. Her research interests lie in the development and validation of new statistical methods and their application to real data.
Béatrice Lauzon has a BSc in Biology from Concordia University and an MSc in Epidemiology from McGill University. She is currently conducting a PhD degree with our group and her research is on methodological topics in case-control studies.
Romain Pasquet, Master's student
Romain Pasquet has a BSc in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University. He is currently conducting a MSc degree with our group. His research is on the effect of tea and coffee consumption on lung cancer risk.
Eric Vallières, Master's Student
Eric Vallières has a BSc in Anthropology and his presently completing his MSc in Biomedical Sciences (Epidemiology and Clinical research) from the Université de Montréal. His current research with our group is on the association between welding fumes and lung cancer risk.
Syed Ahsan Raza, Doctoral Student
Syed Ahsan Raza has an MD from Sindh Medical College - University of Karachi, and an MSc in Epidemiology from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He did his fellowship training in cancer research at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in Lyon, France. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree in Public Health and Epidemiology at the Université de Montréal. His research interest is on the role of helicobacter infections and environmental risk factors on gallbladder disease and cancer.
